I watched a movie last night on Netflix called A Dangerous Method that was about the relationship between Carl Jung, his mentor Sigmund Freud, and Sabina Spielrein, the woman both men analyzed who became Jung’s mistress, a doctor in her own right, and influenced both men and their analytic theories.

You see how much Jung struggled to stand up for his beliefs that your soul was not just here on this planet to work out complexes but to discover the meaning of your life.

Although Sabina comes to his clinic believed to be insane by her family, his belief in her transforms her and she goes on to study and assist him. Because psychoanalysis was in its infancy in Victorian Europe, both Sabina and Freud strongly discouraged Jung in his research of mystical traditions like alchemy, synchronicity, and astrology. They feared they would all be discredited. And in fact, Jung’s second mistress (also an analyst, Toni Wolff) also discouraged him because she felt it contradicted her Christian faith.

Given the pressures on Jung ( he did keep his study of astrology buried in his unpublished writings while he was alive) to conform to this newly budding field in repressed Zurich and Vienna, it made me wonder what in HIS soul gave him the courage to persevere in spite of the risks to his reputation? As an aside, I did some research, and he outlived his wife and both his mistresses which is remarkable given the common life span of men in the 1950’s. Further, Freud died of oral cancer. hmmm.

I realize this is an extrapolation, but perhaps it is that kind of courage and sense of purpose that influences the aging process. To speak out and follow what one believes even it flies in the face of society. Of course, it helps to have three women who all greatly assisted his work behind the scenes. But still, he had to maintain a singular voice given their dissent, like so many pioneers do.

So often people come to me seeking greater meaning in their lives that is often triggered by a crisis because they cannot give themselves permission to follow their soul’s deepest yearning. There is another way.

Dr. Joe Dispenza, a leading thought leader along with many other personal growth influencers have been commenting on the new influx of electromagnetic energy onto the planet since the Lion’s Gate opening on 8/8. I know that we are in a time that discovering what one’s true soul purpose is can come much more easily. I love working with people who are ready to step out of their 3 D story and into this new frontier we are building.

Astrology Tips for the Week:

Monday September 23 – Hit the ground running. Finally, we do not have a void moon on a Monday until 3:00 PM until 5:00 AM Tuesday. I would not advise major meetings or having procedures during that window.

Tuesday – The moon is well aspected in Leo. Complete major projects already under way. We are now in the moon’s shadow for five days. Farmers do not plant in the waning cycle.

Wednesday – our only Void moon day of the work week beginning at 7:30 AM for 23 hours. Make no major decisions today. Leave it to Thursday.

Thursday and Friday – the moon is well aspected in Virgo making a trine to Uranus in Taurus and Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn and then an extra kick to Mars in Virgo to end Friday.

Saturday – THE NEW MOON in Venus ruled Libra at 11:29 AM PDT. Make a wish for something that involves beauty and/or relationships but wait until the new moon is exact or after 11:29 AM PDT. The most potent time for the new moon to manifest your deepest desires is the first 24 hours of the new 4 week cycle. I suggest ritualizing it by lighting a candle and writing down your intention.

I am so happy that Saturn is finally going direct after four months. The old man Saturn has really been working us! And yes, where Saturn is in your natal chart will show you where your past life karmic debt is. Jupiter shows you your karmic blessings from another lifetime, but that is another story. Saturn creates unconscious blockages in your body, especially if it is in hard aspect in the natal chart. When Saturn is transiting a planet in your chart, it is making a hard aspect, it can create clinical depression. Because Saturn transits last up to 18 months, if you are under a hard transit, the impulse for anyone not knowing their chart might be to go on anti-depressants.

As a clinician, astrology has helped me so-o-o much with my clients to encourage them to explore the gift of Saturn, rather than first using SSRI’s. Saturn’s job is to make us work hard at things but it can really affect neurotransmitters. Saturn, because it rules the career house, also shows us innate and sometimes unexplored talents, so when I do career coaching, I always look at Saturn in the chart.

Further, because Saturn is in its home sign Capricorn which rules society, it has been moving toward an opposition to the United States sun sign in Cancer at 13 degrees for the past few months too; uh, that means all of us Americans are being affected. It will station directly opposite the U.S. Sun this week. These two signs rule the mother and father archetypes. We are being called to reconstruct how we relate to these energies inside and perhaps, if your parents are still alive, a new relationship with them too. A new matrix is being called forth. How are you expressing your Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine? I invite you in the next four days before Saturn goes direct on Wednesday, September 18 ( a powerful day by the way, more on that later) to reflect on what you still need to shed of old belief matrices that either are past life in nature or were modeled by your parents.

When Saturn goes direct, It will be easier to move forward with your life purpose aspirations by the end of the month as we move into the season of change, Autumn! For the first time in history, it is possible to transmute karma, whether it be from a past life or last week. I have been seeing miracles showing up in my Feminine Mastery Zoom class so I know it can happen for you. I have tools for locating those karmic imprints in your body and releasing them into a new form.

Saturn will be in Capricorn on election day 2020 but taking its last “conservative daddy” breath before it goes into Aquarius in December 2020. Aquarius rules revolutionary change and out of the box forward thinking. This is very different than Capricorn. The last time Saturn was in Aquarius, Bill Clinton was elected. In fact, the moon was also in Aquarius on that election day, just as it is in the U.S. natal chart. He was our first president who, we publicly knew came from a dysfunctional, alcoholic divorced family, mirroring the masses. He represented the wounded healer archetype as a President. He could feel our pain. And he also reflected the American public through his sex addiction.

I predict that if there is any hanky panky around this next election, we will see a rebellion in the American public big time, before the inaugural. Hope springs eternal…

This week’s career tips:

Monday, September 16 – the moon goes void of its course at 9:00 AM PDT for 18 hours. Work on projects already in place and wait until tomorrow to make any commitments. Last Monday the moon was void all day but I had to keep a doctor’s appt. His staff was all out except the receptionist ( the flu is really going around) so he drew my blood and bruised the heck out of my arm and was yawning from the moment he entered the room at 11:00 AM, an hour late with no other patients but me.

People can be more tired or spacey than usual on void moon days.

Tuesday, September 17th the moon moves into Taurus, an earth sign so a better day to make purchases and take meetings you want to have move forward.

Wednesday, September 18th Saturn Stations Direct

A powerful day for the moon too.

After 16 weeks retrograde, Saturn is finally ready to begin moving forward (direct) again. Saturn stationed retrograde on April 29, 2019 at 20 Capricorn 31. What were you doing around that date? Were you starting something new or trying to finish something you had been working on? How was that working for you while Saturn was retrograde? With Saturn now direct, you should focus on finishing those projects you have been working on during the time of His retrograde.

Following this, the Moon will make a supportive aspect to Saturn, Neptune, Mars and Pluto! Pay attentions to your dreams, instincts and knowing. With waxing aspects predominating, your focus should be on moving any projects forward. Today may also be a day for asking yourself “can you handle the truth?” Is what you are working on really what you should be doing? Or can your energy be better used focusing on something you’ve put “on the back burner?”

Thursday, September 19, the moon goes void again at 6:57 AM PDT but this time for only 7 hours. For those in EDT, it will cover the entire work day until 5:00. Those in PDT, set important meetings for after 2:00 PM when it moves into chatty Gemini.

Friday, September 20, the moon makes great aspects again. Stay focused on finishing projects. In summation, Monday and Thursday are best spent in yin time or busy work.

Today I went to my first Ted X in Asheville and heard an alarming statistic. Seven out of ten suicides last year were comprised of white adult men in mid life. I have often said, that of the three target markets I work with, the group most vulnerable to emotional and/or physical breakdowns are the sandwich generation, those taking care of children and aging parents.

When you add into the mix that our bodies are changing from a 3D matrix into a 5D one, it can lead to a myriad of physical and emotional breakdowns. As we build to the full moon in “cry me a river” Pisces on Friday the 13th, there a number of planetary transits this week that can feel destabilizing. Men are not the only ones wanting out. I have heard a number of friends and clients expressing thoughts of wanting to check out or feeling they are in a death process of some sort. If you can’t make the distinction of what is coming from an old ego construct needing to go by by and a desire to escape, it can feel pretty heavy.

09/09/19 – 1:30 am – slow Moon goes Void-of-CourseFollowing a waxing trine to Venus the Moon goes void-of-course for almost 13 hours. Waxing is the growing or progressing energy. Use this time to focus on any works in progress and set aside any new tasks or projects until after the Moon enters Aquarius this afternoon.

09/09/19 – 2:24 pm – slow Moon enters AquariusThe void-of-course is over. If you have set aside any new projects, you should be good to go if you want to get started on them now. Plan for delays as there are still four planets retrograde.

If you have any new projects or tasks that you have been putting off, you better get them started today because the Moon will be void-of-course all day tomorrow.

09/10/19 – 10:22 pm – slow Moon goes Void-of-CourseFollowing a waxing sextile to Jupiter the Moon goes void-of-course for 28 1/2 hours. That means the Moon will be void-of-course all day tomorrow, Wednesday, “Hump Day!” so plan accordingly.

09/11/19 – slow Moon void-of-course all dayNot only is the Moon void-of-course all day, there are no exact aspects today by any of the transiting planets. This day is best suited for focusing on your “work-in-progress” stack. Concentrate on things that you need to get finished this week or any short-term issues. Set aside any new projects, tasks or issues until tomorrow if you can. If you must tackle something new, proceed with caution, make lists and double check them regularly.

09/12/19 – 2:06 am – Mars square JupiterThis is the waning third quarter crisis of consciousness square in their cycle which began with their conjunction January 6, 2018 at 17 Scorpio. This energy is well suited for embellishing and finishing whatever you may be working on. The next Mars Jupiter cycle begins with their conjunction March 20, 2020 at 22 Capricorn, so you do have time to get this stuff finished.

09/12/19 – 2:52 am – slow Moon enters PiscesThe long void-of-course is over. Can you feel the shift from fixed air, mental bulldozer Aquarius to mutable water flights of fancy Pisces? Note any dreams, insights and sensations on waking. Today you can hit the ground running and tackle any new projects, tasks or issues you may have set aside yesterday.

09/13/19 – 7:04 am – slow Moon sextile retrograde SaturnYes, it is Friday 13th. This waxing sextile is the first exact aspect of the day. Whatever you are working on or dealing with, be honest and proceed with caution. Today is also the third day this month with 9 exact aspects; six by the Moon, so don’t be surprised if people’s moods seem to be all over the place.

09/14/19 – 6:43 am – Venus enters LibraVenus returns to Her second home. Here She may be more concerned about relationships with others rather than the aesthetics of one’s home as She is when in Taurus. With both Mercury and Venus now in Libra the challenge may be to make a decision. Weight your options carefully but don’t get bogged down in the “paralysis by analysis.” Don’t over-analyze. Still can’t decide, ask a trusted friend, family member or perhaps a stranger who has no vested interest in the outcome.

09/14/19 – 3:32 pm – slow Moon enters AriesIt’s Saturday afternoon and the Moon’s void-of-course is over. Give yourself a break this evening. Just exercise some caution with your feelings and emotions for in Aries the Moon may try to drive you into dangerous territory.

09/15/19 – 7:29 pm – slow Moon in Aries square retrograde SaturnA far cry from last Sunday when there were nine exact aspects, today there is just this one.This is the waxing first quarter crisis of action square. Choose wisely. Be honest with others and yourself when doing so.In summation, Tuesday and Thursday are the best days for firm commitments, however, if there is a meeting you need to take to save face but you actually don’t want to have go anywhere, do it on Wednesday or Friday. ?

One story is that it was on Friday October 13, 1307 that King Philip IV of France with the backing of the Pope, ordered the arrest of Knights Templar Grand Master Jacques de Molay and other Templars on the grounds of heresy, that they practiced black magic and scandalous sexual rituals. The real reason was that King Philip needed an excuse to confiscate the wealth and property of the Templar’s because he had almost bankrupted France. Eventually, de Molay was executed by being burned at the stake; but he had his revenge. It is said that he put a curse on King Philip IV and Pope Clement V; both of whom died within nine months of de Molay’s death.”

Recently, a potential client called me to inquire on my relationship coaching but he wanted to see my credentials so I sent him to my website bio. He sent me an email politely communicating that the the psychiatrist he was working with was Harvard trained and an MD, not a PhD and so he needed to pass. What was interesting for me was my own response. I could have directed him to my endorsement page or responded that what I had learned and what was most efficacious in my work had nothing to do with where I went to school ( Sorry, Chapman.) My training as a healer and a shaman came hard won, with the grace of teachers whom I magnetized at the right moments. My clients transform because I only work with people I know I can help and are both ready for and attracted to what I offer.

I did not respond to this person because it is important to me to live what I teach and that is to know who your people are… in every part of your life. Who are the people you are meant to serve? Who are the people you are meant to have as friends or call family? Who are the people you are meant to have as co-workers? Who are the people you open your body to either romantically or in a professional setting, somatically? Are they truly the right fit? If they are, there will be an ease.

A lot of attention is given to health habits for longevity. I would submit that the “who’s who” of who you have in your life or where you work has a greater effect on your health than your work out routine and eating enough cruciferous vegetables.

As this year continues to accelerate as we move to 2020, you may be called to let people go. Sometimes the clearing out process requires a lot of time alone until the tribe comes in that holds you in your highest potential. Surrounding ourselves with people who encourage us and empower us, is the greatest gift we can ever give ourselves.

This is a time of emptying out on the planet. Trust in a vision of a new world that is emerging. Just as we had more than one species on the planet in primitive times, those who operate through love will exist in fifth dimensional reality and others will continue in third dimension.
Knowing when to make agreements or purchases is like knowing not to drink over an important business lunch. It can cost you. You may miss important details on a void moon day that you would see other wise. People often doubt themselves more if they have to be in high performance mode when the moon is not making any aspect to other planets as well because the moon rules our hormones and our emotions. Statistically, there are more botched surgeries on void moon days.

Ok, so after two weeks of having no VOC work day influences, last week and this week is once more heavily Yin. We have many planets in Virgo so it is a good time to handle details at your desk or clean out the garage.As you can see, we have many opportunities to focus on inner and outer emotional connections this week.
