Like scientist/transformational teacher Gregg Braden, another fellow Cancer sun, I am fascinated by history and what its cyclical nature can teach us. The expression “history repeats itself” has great truth to it. And, what is also true is is that we are in a rarified time in recorded history when certain planets have never been as close to one another in the sign that rules society than they are this year. But they got close…

The last time Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto were very widely conjunct in Capricorn was in 1894 BCE. – 3914 years ago to be exact. The ancient city of Babylon was established by King Sumu Abum. By less than 100 years later, a series of rules and regulations were established that are said to have so been etched in stone, that they influence modern law today. This triple planetary effect lasted but a few months then because there were no retrogrades, but this year they are building to this energy through March joined by the planet that rules assertion, aggression and war, Mars. With the retrogrades, all three will be back in Capricorn over the summer, and then in October in direct motion, they will be in even closer aspect, by six degrees. Saturn will dip its toe into Aquarius in late March until early July before it retros back in to Capricorn and then joins Jupiter in Aquarius in December.

What this means is that this is the year of massive transition from the archetype that rules societal convention into the sign ( Aquarius) that rules rebellion. I predict that if this election is thrown, we will see people taking to the streets at the level of riots.

Everyone would like to think of 2019 as the transition year because we changed decades, but decades truly begin at the completion of a decade, which is why 2001 actually began the new decade and millennium. Separate and apart from when the decade actually begins, this stellium ( more than 3 planets) in Capricorn transitioning into Aquarius by the end of the year also portends a new line up we haven’t seen in several hundred years. We are writing a new story!

However, like in Ancient Babylonia, this year is meant to bring events that will eventually catalyze changing laws again. Let’s hope it includes the ERA. As someone who analyzes these facts from an evolutionary and archetypal point of view, what I see is that all seeming crises that unfold this year are part of a necessary collapse of a faulty value system in America and the western world. The last time Jupiter was in Capricorn was in 2008. Remember 2008? Jupiter’s dark side of expansion is that it can bring overestimation, arrogance, and overspending. Of note, Pluto, the planet of death, transformation, passive income, and other people’s money ( ie. the stock market) moved into the sign of Capricorn for the first time in 250 years, in 2008. This was meant to be the beginning of reconstructing our society. When Jupiter went into the sign of Aquarius, in 2009, people became more discerning of how they were spending their money … for a little while.

But no one really wanted to address climate change while their own wallets were pinched. I started doing publicity for my book The Life Quake Phenomenon on TV and found a way to tuck a message in about “once you master change, the real feel good is becoming an agent of change in the world.” I was told then, very few people will resonate with that message. Now, it is more relevant. Judging by what I see on facebook, social activism is taking hold all over the world.

What we didn’t learn then, especially about the environment, is coming back to teach us dramatically this year. So, there has been this big focus on Capricorn because it rules society and the patriarchy but the healing is meant to come from this lunar eclipse in the sign of the mother, the home, what truly nurtures us, Gaia, and the Cosmic Mother – Cancer. And she lives in your heart…

This weekend (the energy of the moon in Cancer begins Wednesday night), not only do we have a line up going exact in Capricorn, they oppose the lunar eclipse full moon in Cancer. My read on this is that our answer for prospering in 2020 and beyond will come from how closely aligned you are to your core needs and values. Regardless of gender, having a deep and engaged relationship with the Divine Mother and other feminine archetypes like Isis and the high priestess within, will inform your professional success this year. The rise of the feminine is for all of us.

You just cannot do it strictly by hard work and discipline (Capricorn) and achieve success this year. In the past few months, three people I know who are dedicated to spiritual leadership all had strokes. Even with worthy causes, working too hard in the old way with the new vibration descending on the planet now, will come with consequences. The way of the mystic is not highly valued in American society but I assert (as a triple Cancer in the house of mysticism) that practices involving meditation, dream journaling, Yoga Nidra, Qi Gong, etc. will align your nervous system to become quiet enough to hear the call from the inner feminine, for messages that will guide you to do things that might be out of the box for you.

Last week, one of my clients in San Francisco felt called to put together an earthquake survival kit. This morning, Puerto Rico had a 6.5 earthquake that exacted a state of emergency throughout the island along with several other smaller temblors up to 5.4 in magnitude. Uranus, the planet that rules radical change and earthquakes goes exact in Taurus on the same day as the lunar eclipse. I highly recommend having extra supplies on hand in the coming months, just in case, we have disruptive shifts on the earth level as well. The only two transpersonal planets not in Capricorn now (Uranus and Neptune) were in Capricorn at the time of the Northridge earthquake in January of 1994.

I have been told by various sages for the past 30 years that I am anchoring the light of the Cosmic Mother on our planet for all of humanity but I also believe that we are in a time that it is critical for all of us to activate her energy in our hearts to guide and be in partnership with the Spirit Father/King within, the new archetype of Capricorn that was activated in my Solar Eclipse program on Dec 26th.

On Saturday, Jan 11th, I will give two activations in my Zoom program – one to release the outmoded patterns generated from our defunct, internalized mother, and the other to activate the new energy available now like never before. I know the power that group activations can have. I got amazing feedback from some who participated in the solar eclipse activation. The archangel Gabriella came to me in meditation recently. Although angels don’t have genders, this angel does appear in both female and male form, you might say, the original hermaphrodite angel. She/He rules artists, writers, teachers, and journalists, and the only archangel that has been known to appear in female form. This archangel also presides over water. As Cancer is a water sign, I think it is why I received a visit from Gabriella last week as I prepare for this program on Saturday.

It is said that if you ask her help, she will come and whisper in your ear, messages of direction or revelation. In this program, you will have an opportunity to receive her assistance in the Divine Matrix I am building now.

In June of this year on the summer solstice, we will have the final eclipse in Cancer so the next six months are a critical time for us all to allow the Divine Feminine to lead our soul paths. We then move into fire and air and things will start moving at lightning speed.

If you read this before Wednesday afternoon, the only void period affecting the work day is Wednesday after 2:00 PM PST. No Void Moon Days after that until January 17th.

However, the moon will go into Cancer (evoking our sensitive side) just after midnight Thursday, opposing Mercury, Saturn, Jupiter, Ceres, Pluto and of course the Sun on Friday. What do you need to shed that gets in the way of your greater professional success and soul purpose, that you inherited from your mother? Further, as we move toward the Global Lunar Eclipse in Cancer on January 10-11th, notice what you internalized from your mother or society on self love, how you feel about your body, and how that has played out in your work life. Was your mother a domestic engineeraholic, workaholic or martyr? Often it comes through the reflection of other people. Who in your life reminds you of your mother that triggers you? What cosmic dance are you playing with others to help you evolve? In this activation, you will have an opportunity to upgrade your intuition exponentially.
